Rising out of the Indian Ocean the Seychelles is a stunning archipelago of islands situated between 4 & 10 degrees south of the equator in the Indian Ocean.
One of mother natures finest, the Seychelles is made up of 115 islands (dated ,roughly, 750 million years), 41 of which are the dramatically beautiful granitic Inner Islands and the remaining 74 (Outer Islands) are laced across picture postcard coraline atolls, complete with low-lying beaches and coral reefs.
The Inner Islands of Mahe, Praslin & La Digue are the cultural & economic hub of the country and this is where most of the resorts are situated. These dazzling islands are famed not only for their beaches but its unique geography is home to mountainous interiors, rainforests with flora that is indigenous to the Seychelles and unique bird life.
