Role overview:
The Hotel Destination Hostess or Steward is responsible for ensuring a seamless, memorable, and high-quality experience for guests throughout their stay on the island, from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct information meetings and welcome sessions at hotels.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times and efficiently handle guests’ requests and requirements.
- Remain available and accessible to guests 24/7 during their stay on the island, including handling urgent situations when required.
- Promote and sell island excursions, tours, cruises, and related services while tailoring recommendations to guests’ preferences and expectations.
- Provide guests with accurate information about local culture, attractions, and tourist sites.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel teams and service providers.
Profile & Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service and sales abilities.
- Well-organised, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Excellent knowledge of local culture, attractions, and tourist sites.
- Fluent in both French and English.
- Holder of a valid driving licence.
- Previous experience in tourism, hospitality, customer service, or sales would be an advantage.
